Green salad with apple and walnuts

A healthy salad loaded with nuts, fruits and greens. So special!

Ingredients: 

A choice of green varieties such as lettuce, french lettuce, lollo rosso, spinach, rucola, iceberg etc....
1 medium size apple
40 gr. walnuts
pomegranate seeds

 Vinegret sauce:
½ cup of olive oil
2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon of mild mustard
1 teaspoon of honey
a little salt

Clean and wash carefully the green salads of your choice (especially spinach needs very good washing), drain and dry by wraping in a towel. Cut them into slightly larger than bite size pieces. Wash the apple and cut into slices or small cubes with its skin and place them in a small bowl with a little water and lemon juice in order to avoid to turn black.
Beat in blender all the ingredients for the dressing. In a large bowl mix the green salads of your choice, the pieces of apple and the walnuts. Pour the dressing and garnish with pomegranate seeds.
 

Tip: 

Dressing should be added to salad just before serving.
