Chocolate - Hazelnut Pie
Sensational, irresistible chocolate-hazelnut pie for the special person in your heart!
250 gr./8.8 oz semi-sweet, dark chocolate, mixed
80 gr./2.8 oz olive oil
1/2 teacup sugar (80 gr./2.8 oz)
1/2 teacup flour for all purpose (60 gr./2.1 oz)
100 gr./3.5 oz hazelnuts, finely chopped
Melt chocolate in a double boiler, add olive oil and mix. Beat the eggs with sugar very well. Pour the mixture of chocolate and olive oil in the beaten eggs and stir. Add flour and chopped hazelnuts. Pour the mixture in a form with diameter 20-22cm / 7 7/8 in. - 8 5/8 in. and bake in a preheated oven 180°C/350F for 15 minutes (no longer otherwise it will get dry.)
Hazelnuts can be more or less ground, depending on your taste .
Keep it out of the refrigerator . If desired, warm slightly before serving.
