Aρνάκι φούρνου

Κλασικό ελληνικό φαγητό, αγαπητό ιδιαίτερα τις Κυριακές που συγκεντρώνεται όλη η οικογένεια μαζί να το απολαύσει...  

Συστατικά: 

2 κιλά αρνί (μπούτι κατά προτίμηση)
2 σκελίδες σκόρδο
1-2 λεμόνια (χυμό)
6 κουτ. σούπας ελαιόλαδο
θυμάρι ή ρίγανη
2 κιλά πατάτες
αλάτι, πιπέρι

Πλένουμε το κρέας και το τοποθετούμε στο ταψί. Κάνουμε κοψίματα με τη μύτη του μαχαιριού σε μερικά σημεία και βάζουμε κομμάτια σκόρδου και αλατοπίπερο. Ξεφλουδίζουμε τις πατάτες, τις κόβουμε σε μεγάλα κομμάτια και τις πλένουμε. Πασπαλίζουμε με αλτοπίπερο και θυμάρι ή ρίγανη.oregan. Τις βάζουμε στο ταψί μαζί με το κρέας και περιχύνουμε με ελαιόλαδο. Προσθέτουμε τον χυμό του λεμονιού και λίγο νερό. Ψήνουμε το αρνί με τις πατάτες στο φούρνο στους 220ο C για περίπου 2 ώρες.

Tip: 

Όταν πάρει χρώμα από τη μια πλευρά, γυρίστε το κι από την άλλη.

Προτιμήστε μικρά στρογγυλά πατατάκια, είναι νοστιμότερα.

Συνοδέψτε το φαγητό σας με φρέσκια πράσινη σαλάτα.
